Session organizers

1. Daniel Ambrosini, Facultad de Ingeniería, UNCu-CONICET, Mendoza, Argentina.
2. Víctor Cortinez, Facultad Regional Bahía Blanca, UTN, Bahía Blanca, Argentina.

Description

The main objective of this session is to bring together in a common area of discussion the papers related to dynamic loadings acting on structural and mechanical systems. Moreover, the study of vibrations, in a general sense, is also included. A non-exhaustive list of potential topics is as follows: Impulsive actions, impact and blast loadings. Wind loading, fluid-structure interaction. Seismic loadings. Vibration of mechanical and structural elements. Vibration control. Structural damage and dynamic properties. Identification of dynamic systems. Determination of dynamic properties. Constitutive models dependent on the strain rate. Dynamical systems.
