Description

This session gathers original contributions on Plasma Physics with special emphasis on numerical methods. A wide variety of fields is encompassed including fusion research, magnetic confinement, beam plasmas, laser-plasma interaction, dusty and low temperature plasmas, as well as space and astrophysical plasmas and basic plasma phenomena. It covers both algorithm development and the latest simulation results. A major aim is to bring together different fields of computational plasma physics who share common algorithmic issues to broaden discussion and cross discipline interaction.
