Description

The session is devoted to theoretical, experimental or field investigations and applications, with emphasis on computational issues of wind engineering problems. Within this multi-disciplinary subject the effects of wind on the natural and built environment, management of wind induced hazards, assessment of wind loads on buildings, users and pedestrian comfort considerations are involved. Pollutant
dispersion, natural ventilation and renewable energy, in wich wind plays a main role are also included. Extreme events like tornadoes and hurricanes are topics of interest, too.
